We seek a highly motivated Clinical Account Manager to support the introduction and adoption of OdonAssist, a novel medical device supporting safe, assisted vaginal births, in Germany.

Du bist Hebamme mit Erfahrung in der Geburtshilfe und interessiert an innovativer Geburtsversorgung? Bei Maternal Newborn Health Innovations (MNHI) suchen wir eine klinische Account‑Managerin mit Hebammenhintergrund, die das OdonAssist‑System in deutschen Kliniken, Geburtshäusern und öffentlichen Krankenhäusern einführt und unterstützt.

OdonAssist™ ist ein weiches, aufblasbares medizinisches Gerät, das bei unterstützten vaginalen Geburten zum Einsatz kommt. Es umschließt den Kopf des Neugeborenen mit einer Luftkammer und unterstützt die schonende Zugführung während der Geburt. Das System ist bereits in UK, Frankreich, Italien und Spanien kommerzialisiert; wir bereiten nun die Einführung in deutschen Geburtsstationen vor – durch Vorführungen, Schulungen von Hebammen‑ und Geburtshilfeteams sowie die Teilnahme an fachlichen Kongressen und Fortbildungen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Training & Education:

    • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for obstetricians, midwives, and other relevant healthcare professionals on the use of OdonAssist™.

    • Organise workshops, seminars, and hands-on sessions to demonstrate device applications and best practices.

    • Provide ongoing support and education to ensure proficiency and confidence among users.​

    • Originating/reviewing/approving medical, regulatory, marketing, and communication documents from a Medical Affairs perspective

    Business Development:

  • Collaborate closely with the commercial team to identify and engage potential public and private hospitals, and clinical leads Germany.

  • Leverage clinical expertise to build trust with stakeholders, facilitating the introduction and uptake of OdonAssist™ in key maternity units.

  • Support regional business development strategies by mapping target accounts, understanding hospital procurement pathways, and identifying key decision-makers.

  • Represent OdonAssist™ at trade shows, congresses, and clinical events to promote the device, generate leads, and strengthen brand awareness.

  • Act as a liaison between clinical and commercial teams to ensure alignment in messaging, positioning, and implementation plans.

  • Provide input into sales forecasts, territory planning, and account management strategies, ensuring a patient-centered yet commercially sound approach.

  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new business opportunities and potential risks.

  • Contribute to tender submissions and procurement presentations with compelling clinical evidence and user insights.

  • Help establish centres of excellence and pilot sites to showcase successful integrations and outcomes.

    Clinical Feedback & Product Improvement:

    • Gather feedback from healthcare professionals regarding device performance and user experience.

    • Communicate insights to the product development team to inform enhancements and updates.

    • Stay updated on clinical trends and advancements to ensure OdonAssist™ remains at the forefront of obstetric care.​

    Compliance & Documentation:

    • Ensure all training and educational activities comply with regulatory standards and company policies.

    • Maintain accurate records of training sessions, feedback, and other relevant documentation.​

Job requirements

EXPERIENCES

  • Registered midwife or obstetrician with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in obstetrics.

  • Proven experience in clinical education or training roles.

  • Ability to bridge clinical knowledge with commercial opportunities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to travel within Germany.

  • Fluent in German and proficient in English are required.

  • Experience working in a start-up environment is preferred
