MNHI is seeking a highly motivated and strategically minded Country Leader for Germany, Switzerland and Austria to lead the introduction, adoption and scale-up of OdonAssist™, a novel medical device designed to support safe and gentle assisted vaginal birth.
This is a unique opportunity to lead the commercialisation of a clinically meaningful innovation in one of the most complex and influential healthcare systems in Europe.
The successful candidate will bring strong clinical-domain credibility in obstetrics and maternity care, combined with proven expertise in navigating the DACH hospital reimbursement, DRG and procurement environment. MNHI is seeking a leader with deep practical knowledge and experience working within German obstetrics settings, and the ability to engage confidently with clinical and hospital stakeholders.
You will be the face of OdonAssist in Germany, working closely with clinical leaders, hospital decision-makers, procurement organisations and health system stakeholders to drive adoption, access and sustainable growth. This role reports to the VP Europe.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercial leadership
Leads the DACH sales strategy;
ct as the primary point of contact for all OdonAssist™ activities in Germany;
Organizes and prepares participations at national congresses, clinical events, and regulatory meetings, representing MNHI;
Coordinates and delivers clinical training sessions (in-person or virtual) for obstetric teams, ensuring safe and effective use of the device;
Responsible for managing a mix of in- bound and out bound marketing, working with CRM systems and analytics to target potential clients;
Oversees budgeting, reporting, and resourcing for national activities;
Negotiates contracts with vendors, suppliers, and other business partners on behalf of the organization;
Reviews financial statements to determine if the company is meeting its financial goals in Germany and making adjustments as needed;
Takes a hands-on approach to handling issues or hurdles that arise to identify them and resolve them quickly and efficiently;
Cross-functional collaboration
Collaborates closely with the Medical Affairs leader in defining the approach with maternity hospitals, obstetrics teams and key opinion leaders, and for the overall country go-to market strategy;
Engages very closely with the MNHI Europe Customer Care team on all aspects of customer service to help ensure MNHI is regarded a reliable and respected supplier;
Leads engagement with hospital procurement functions, buying groups and national tender administrators to secure business for MNHI;
Interacts frequently with the Regulatory and Quality team members for product registration, marketing material, and any in-country regulatory requirements;
Works with marketing communications team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that promote OdonAssist™ and other products or services when introduced;
Engages closely with Finance and Operations team members for business planning, forecasting and commercial process, systems and administration;
Reviews financial records to identify areas of improvement in German operations or performance;
Operates with high integrity and ensures that the German organisation complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
Job requirements
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, or another in the Medical field with at least 10 years of experience leading in business development/marketing/senior sales functions in the medical technology industry;
Previous experience in a Country Lead role or similar in Germany or DACH region;
Proven track record in creating and implementing solid business strategies and market access plans in the medical device or healthcare industry;
Experience in formulating and implementing an account management plan to ensure that business relations are properly maintained,
Experience in setting up the correct purchasing/procurement paths and tenders for hospital maternities to be able to purchase our device;
Proven experience in tracking performance indicators and assessing overall country performance a must;
Team management experience;
Has prior experience in collecting and communicating customer information via market research surveys and other methods;
Background in obstetrics, midwifery, or experience working with women's health products a plus;
Strong understanding of maternal and newborn care pathways a plus;
Strong existing network in obstetrics or maternal health community preferred;
Experience working in start-up environment preferred.

Collects information in order to prepare proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs);
Demonstrates sound negotiation and conflict resolution skills;
Demonstrates effective leadership, communication and interpersonal skills;
